Our streets are crowded. How should parking be regulated?
Bloomfield treasures our intimate, local, walkable, and neighborhood streets. And one of the largest occupiers (in both size & capacity) are parked cars. Residential parking on our side streets is important, particularly for our seniors & neighbors with disabilities. But change in past years (like new businesses & new developments) has changed the demand for this parking, and sometimes creates conflicts with pedestrians trying to access sidewalks, handicap curb ramps, and safety sight lines.
The City is proposing changes to the Residential Permit Parking (RPP) Program, and wants to hear from you! Check out their online survey HERE, and let them know how Bloomfield wants to prioritize our streets for people. Survey closes APRIL 25th.
