This Bloomfield Spot is part of a larger city-wide event, hosted by PARK(ing) Day Pittsburgh. Check out their website for other Parking Spots around the city. According to Thor Erickson, a member of 2014’s all-volunteer organizing committee, “It’s important to note that PARK(ing) Day is not an attack on cars. Instead, Erickson says, it’s an opportunity to study how people use a space at different times of the day and then consider how to blend those uses together.”
